Friends of Tully Lake monthly meeting

Friends of Tully Lake members met at 3514 Chestnut Hill Ave. for our regular monthly meeting.

Our fundraising sale day at Trail Head raised about $130. Many thanks to the wonderful
folks at Trail Head in Orange for making this event possible!

Our can and bottle drive at Hannaford's Market in Orange began on September 1, and is steadily
bringing in funds.

Nick and Valerie Wisniewsi of Walnut Hill Tracking & Nature Center
have kindly agreed to offer another wildlife tracking workshop to benefit Friends of Tully Lake,
Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Tully Lake. Thanks to Maureen for organizing this event.

We will urge Athol citizens to attend Town Meeting on October 16, where several important
changes to zoning bylaws will be voted upon.

Our next meeting is Sunday, October 15 at 4pm. Note this is not our usual second Sunday, so as
not to compete with Columbus Day weekend.
